AXT Turbo kit to suit the worldwide TD42 4.2Ltr Diesel Safari.

STANDARD TURBO KIT
In order to provide maximum durability under heavy load conditions, the standard system features:

-Two piece exhaust manifold
-Mandrel bend exhaust pipe, bolting to stock system
-Braided stainless steel, Teflon lined water and oil lines
-Stainless steel hardware (clamps, studs etc.)
-Custom built turbo charger
-Cast alloy air ducts
-Replacement Cast Alloy Airbox

The turbocharger used in this system is a customised Garrett water-cooled unit, designed to specifically match a standard TD42 engine, without any modifications.

The graphs below give an indicative figure of the torque and power difference between naturally aspirated and with the AXT Turbo system fitted.

Turbo Kits available to suit all Safari models with the TD42 engine:

GX, GL, GR etc

This kit KEEPS the standard air filter elements, for both the primary and secondary filters where fitted.
This kit includes a replacement cast alloy airbox that uses the original filter.
This means no cutting or chopping up of the original airbox.
