Oil Cooler Kit
In order to provide maximum durability in ambient temperature conditions over 30 degrees centigrade, an oil cooler should be fitted, which features:
-Reduced pressure drop, large internal diameter, fittings and hose
-High temperature resistant hydraulic hoses
-Specific vehicle oil cooler mounting brackets
-Oil filter adaptor mounting tube nut, manufactured to maintain original equipment design characteristics
This Engine Oil Cooler kit is designed to specifically match the 1VD-FTV Engine.
This is the Toyota 4.5L Diesel V8 Engine, as fitted to the 200 Series Landcruiser.
A Single Turbo version of this engine is also fitted to the Australian 76-78 series Landcruisers.
This Engine oil cooler kit will also fit this model.
This engine is particularly susceptible to overheating the engine oil under harsh / heavily loaded operating conditions. The addition of an engine oil cooler the the vehicle will aid the oil life under the extremes of operation, thereby aiding the long term reliability of the engine.
